Do you think fatal injuries would heal slower for nations than a normal injury would?

Yes. I think severe injuries like decapitation or being impaled take longer to heal, but not by much. Probably only twice as long at most. I don't think that nations die and come back to life. I used to, but I heard that in Hetalian Horror Show, nations can drown perpetually and feel the pain and still not die. And that sounds way more messed up, so I kind of like that idea more.

But if a nation's body was completely destroyed via disintegration or something, they'd just respawn in the nearest and most convenient location.

I also think that head injuries take longer because of how complex brains are. Like a severe concussion will heal faster than a human's, but slower than normal for a nation.

1. I'm mean... how could he not be a favorite? 🤭 Honestly though, he's exactly my type. Well, one half of it, lol. His mind intrigues me. I'm fascinated with the dark and mysterious, so it only makes sense. I like complex characters.

2. It wasn't until he was shot by Jurian that I fully realized Rhys wasn't my fictional husband.

But there was the little sentence when Feyre was eating with the IC for the first time. I can find the quote, but it's something about him having a facial reaction to her story. I was intrigued. I wanted to know more. Then, seeing his quiet sarcastic personality solidified it for me. Confirmed with the tree scene in ACOWAR. I grew up with a huge crush on Danny Phantom and Shego, so is anyone surprised?

3. Theory wise: I'm terrified tbh. I don't trust SJM and her character development.

Az is absolutely more powerful than we know. I do feel he's connected to the stars but I haven't finished TOG or even thought about reading CC so idk all the lore. I want to see him deal with Illyria. Let him tear the place apart and wreck havoc. Gods, I also desperately need a chapter minimum just on his torture. I need to understand the inner workings of his brain.

I'm entirely failing College and yes I should be focusing on that BUT!! I have another fic idea. One based off of my maladaptive daydreams, specifically. Mafia boss/club owner/crime lord & street kid Bruce Wayne AU. Based mainly around the The Batman 2022 and Gotham (series) timelines, along with Telltale Batman, with my own elements mixed in of course.

Selina gave him the Bat nickname, to conceal his real identity as a street kid. How did he become a street kid? Wayne Enterprises execs stealing all of his money and his house. Alfred tried to help, but he couldn't do anything about it and Bruce ended up on the streets.

It's sort of if Bruce was Jason, I guess. He adapted to the streets quickly, and at age 22 he started to take revenge on people. Before that, he had actually been actively asked by The League of Assassins to train with them. They wanted someone as vengeful and willing to do anything to survive as him on their side. Unfortunately.. he didn't really like how strict they were. He killed Ra's and allowed Talia to become the leader, returning to Gotham after.

He still adopts most of his kids! Not officially, but he uses his club to help people out. Shelter people that need it, feed people that need food, etc.

So!! Hopefully I actually finish the fic considering.. College. But hopefully my bad luck as of late means I actually do it.. the ao3 author life has found me lmao.. And yes I did write all of this in a class.

Frankly, Nuclear Throne doesn't have all that much lore to it (it's mostly just a really fun game), especially compared to Gravity Falls. There's a lot of headcanon 'cause of this, too, so everything you need to know should be covered in the story itself!

It might be worth noting, however, that since Yung Venuz doesn't originate from Nuclear Throne (he was conceived around 2011-2012, insanely enough almost the exact same time Bill would have been), information about him is all over the place. The best source of learning about his character is probably via his Twitter account which we both just adore. Those who aren't familiar with him may wanna give it a little peak to get an idea of what he's like; he's a total himbo.

★ you: 25+, Spawn Astarion enthusiast and writer. someone who's communicative and willing to plot, discuss headcanons and endure my memes and stuff even when we're not actively writing. literate, descriptive, third person and past tense enjoyer. I cannot emphasize that descriptive writing and quality over quantity is a must! I care more about proper characterization than you catering to what you think I want out of your character. replies possibly every day but not required, at least a few times a week - unless, y'know, life happens of course. as long as you communicate with me, I'm super understanding. I come into this offering a Tav (seldarine drow / druid / cis man / gay / 380-ish) that is so incredibly desperate to love Astarion as he struggles through his journey. a man who's morally very grey, kind of hates everyone - except for Astarion of course, whom he considers the most beautiful creature in the world so far beyond the physical realm. a soft dom and pleasure top who'll go at Astarion's pace, whether in the sheets or outside of it, whatever it takes. I'm honestly looking for, like, 70/30 in regards to ratio of Astarion VS my Tav lore, more looking to study Astarion's character and his person and story VS Tav's. smut encouraged, as I'm also looking to delve into Astarion's character from the POV of getting to know his own body and pleasure.

★ yes: slow burn or love at first sight, both are fine by me. multiple AUs, multiple verses, crossovers, ramblings, threads, screaming and crying over fictional men. open to discussing and writing kink, sexuality, romance, trauma, hidden feelings and hard issues, a journey through how tough it is to be loved when you crave it so bad yet it makes you feel so dirty. dark and dead dove topics extremely welcome, with a few exceptions;

★ limits: no non-con, no romanticizing abuse, and... stuff. Astarion's (and my Tav's) backstory is obviously very dark and full of abuse, I have no qualms writing that; my issue is if rape is played as a kink or as simple shock value without ever dealing with the ramifications. not terribly interested in trans characters at this point; I'll gladly explain my stance if asked! (to put it short and simple; dysphoria etc etc)

Just a heads up but I’m probably gonna do a poll on which fic to write next after the wips are all done! (Which is gonna be in like— thirty years because the chapter count despises me…) And said poll will feature a lot of the prompts on this blog, probably 🙈🦇✨

Also, just in case it wasn’t clear, feel free to ask me about my fics (or batfam headcanons in general) in case you get confused with lore or world building (cuz I’m a notorious air head running on too much caffeine and routinely forget to clarify background info) or suggest scenes you’d like to see in one of them 💚 chances are good I’ll add some to the fics or just write small snippets for them here or do a mini comic 🎨
